Anti-Virus Software for the Palm OS

F-Secure's second generation Anti-Virus for Palm OS provides protection against any known malware (viruses, trojans, etc.) on the Palm platform. The product offers on-device protection with continuous, automatic update service and technical support and operates on all Palm OS devices with OS 2.0 or later.

F-Secure Anti-Virus for Palm OS runs locally on the device, providing continuous protection. It quickly and automatically scans and detects all known malware after HotSync, which is essential for a convenient and transparent user experience. The scanning can also be manually invoked.

The application also has an always up-to-date anti-virus database automatically pushed to the host PC and to the handheld at HotSync. The update system is totally transparent to the user.

The software and service is available immediately through F-Secure eStore at www.F-Secure.com. The product will also be available at major Palm software websites later in March. The price of a single license is $25.00 USD, including the update service for the first year. During the launch period, until April 14th, a special price of $15 USD will be in effect.
