Tired of that ordinary transfer of data across the Internet? InnoMedia is adding a new dimension to the typical TCP/IP network with their Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) gateway. The InfoGate 3020 provides 1 to 4 ports of analog voice data for toll-quality voice service over IP networks. InfoGate 3020 is targeting small to medium-sized enterprises seeking to reduce their telecommunications costs between corporate offices.

The InfoGate 3020 is H.323 compliant, utilizing voice compression, echo cancellation, and packet recovery algorithms to deliver high-quality voice services. The 3020 can be deployed in point-to-point and mesh network configurations, allowing for scalability to accommodate business growth. The FXS interface on the 3020 allows access to regular phones or the trunk ports of any PBX or KTS in any country. The 3020 is used to reduce the cost of remote voice communications.

The InfoGate 3020 can be configured and upgraded remotely using a Web browser. InfoGate 3020 comes equipped with an integrated Gatekeeper, remote management capabilities, and Call Detail Record (CDR) log software for system administration and accounting purposes.

Network connectivity is provided through its RJ45 10BaseT Ethernet port. The 3020 also contains four RJ11 ports to connect up to 4 telephones or PBX systems. Administration can be done through its DB9 serial port or through its integrated Web server.

The InfoGate 3020 is available today at an MSRP beginning at US $895 per unit.
