IP blue's Communications Products Converge

IP blue and Cisco IP Telephony Specialization Partner have released the client application platform VT ALL (Virtual Terminal Application Link & Launch) and the associated applications VT ALERT!, VT HOOT, and VT GO.

VT ALL is an application and development platform built to deliver advanced IP telephony functionality over a Cisco AVVID network infrastructure. VT ALL provides a single interface for enterprise-class telephony, legacy applications, streaming media, message distribution and retrieval, and true collaboration.

VT ALL is engineered to integrate into and enhance a company's IP telephony infrastructure and deliver advanced telephony features to a wide array of users. With VT ALL, remote and mobile users, as well as back office and other support staff, can access the full compliment of services, including private lines and Hoot 'n Holler circuits, from virtually any location via standard IP connection.

VT GO, in its first release, is a mobile version of VT ALL developed using Cisco's "skinny" (SCCP) protocol. As a fully functioning soft phone, VT GO is designed to interface with Cisco's CallManager and transforms PDA's into voice-enabled wireless soft phones, providing features found on traditional IP phones.

VT ALERT! provides messaging and alerting capabilities and helps firms to establish more frequent and direct contact with customers. VT ALERT! is triggered by pre-set market conditions or external events and establishes simple and immediate notification to customers. Once it has sent the alert, VT ALERT! can then establish an immediate call between the customer and the company agent or provide further information to the customer via email.

VT ALL, VT ALERT!, VT GO, and VT HOOT are currently being piloted in several large financial institutions.
