See Digital Images on Palm OS DevicesBy ACD Systems International, Inc. has developed ACDSee Mobile for Palm OS so Palm users can see digital images easily on their Palm OS-based devices. This software makes viewing, managing, and sharing digital images on Palm-powered handhelds as easy as it is on desktop computers. ACDSee Mobile for Palm OS enables users to transfer images from a desktop or notebook to a handheld in one fell swoop. The application coverts 9 image types to the Palm OS handheld, and when used with ACDSee, it converts more than 40 image formats. The displayed images can be set to a "fit-to-Palm" size or the original image dimensions. Palm-powered handheld users can also organize their image files into up to 15 categories; sort files for browsing by name, date, and other parameters; and browse by file name or in thumbnail mode. Users can even search by file names and descriptions added to the digital images. To share images, Palm OS owners can beam other Palm OS handhelds with ACDSee Mobile. With the introduction of ACDSee Mobile for Palm OS, ACDSee is now available across three platforms - PC, Mac, Palm OS. ACDSee Mobile for Palm OS is available as a standalone product or as a plug-in for ACDSee 3.1 and PicaView 2.0. It can be purchased for $19.95 or experienced on a 45 day trial by downloading it from http://www.acdsystems.com/english/products/acdsee-mobile/. Link: |
