Intrinsyc Software is demonstrating an application of its new Embedded Web Services (EWS) Technology in conjunction with Microsoft and Panasonic at the Microsoft Professional Developers Conference October 23-26. The security system demonstration showcases Intrinsyc's Windows CE-based Cerf Cube running its EWS software and interfacing with Panasonic's IP-based video surveillance system and several devices, including laptops and Compaq iPAQs that support Microsoft .NET architecture and software.

Intrinsyc's EWS software is complementary to Microsoft's newly announced .NET Compact Framework, and is an underlying component of Intrinsyc's overall embedded device Remote Management Software strategy. Intrinsyc's Remote Management Software includes several standard software components, Web services, and application services that deliver remote configuration, application management, and operating system updates to virtually any device over the Internet or private networks. The benefits of EWS include quicker field deployment, lower system operating costs, and service differentiation through post-delivery feature updates.

The Panasonic video surveillance system is an example of a common application where system information can be quickly and easily accessed from virtually any point on the Web to speed application delivery and improve Web-based system reliability and performance.
