Dauphin Technology releases proprietary set-top box software, OlaSena, developed for consumer applications including customers of OTE Telecommunications. This all-in-one software combines multiple functionality and ease of use on virtually any television.

The powerful OlaSena software enables consumers to use their TV sets as entertainment devices, while offering full computing and broadband functionality. The Internet, Video on Demand (VoD), television programming, DVD, and other multimedia services are all functions that interact individually or simultaneously in a multi-screen display. Other multimedia functionality includes music CD recording/playback and 3D gaming. It also provides access to a TV tuner in both full screen and picture in picture.

Dauphin's user-friendly software enables users to benefit from the multiple services provided by the OraLynx Set-Top Box. Novice users can enjoy conventional entertainment programming and also benefit from several computer related features, such as email and Web browsing with the simple click of an icon. More proficient computer users can perform complex computing operations while accessing broadband services, including entertainment and other multimedia bundled by Dauphin's OlaSena software. OlaSena can be totally controlled by either a wireless keyboard or remote control.

Combined with the OraLynx STB, OlaSena gives telecommunications providers the ability to broaden their customer base and grow revenues by offering bundled services to the television. Additionally, Dauphin is exploring the possibility of licensing OlaSena to set-top-box manufacturers worldwide.
