Pocketop Computer Corporation designer of input solutions for the mobile handheld device market, released its Pocketop wireless keyboard for PDAs. The touch-typing keyboard was designed to match the size of a PDA.

The Pocketop Keyboard is compatible with the Palm and PocketPC operating systems. It's wireless connectivity through the infrared port allows it to communicate with no hardware connection. It can operate with PDAs in different rotational orientations allows a user to chose which view to use the PDA, portrait or landscape position.

The Pocketop Keyboard's simple design has only one fold and no moving parts, making it less susceptible to wear and tear. The keyboard comes with its own power source, an AAA battery that lasts three months under normal use, therefore using none of the PDA power to operate the keyboard.

Pocketop's US retail distribution partner, Micro Innovations, will market the product in the US retail channel as the Wireless Link Keyboard. The units will be shipping in April through select retail outlets at a suggested retail price of $119.00.
