Orion Provides a Secure Network Constellation

Celestix Networks, Inc. has joined the other security appliance manufactuerers by upgrading their Orion appliance to use the latest Check Point security software. Orion has been designed for small businesses, home/branch offices, telecommuters, and consumers. It secures the network with VPN and a firewall.

Orion is managed through a Web interface. Along with the VPN and firewall security, Orion supports email anti-virus capabilities, filters and parental content control.

Three versions of Orion are available:

• Celestix Orion with pre-licensed Check Point Safe@Home software is priced at $299 and protects up to 5 nodes.
• Orion with Safe@Home Pro is priced at $399, enables telecommuters or home office workers to connect to a corporate VPN, and protects up to 5 nodes.
• Orion with Safe@Office is priced at $599-$1199, provides site-to-site and remote access VPN connectivity for small businesses and branch offices, and protects 10 or 25 nodes.
