These appliances secure Outlook Web Access and iNotes by offering browser-based access and VPN to corporate e-mail accounts without fear of e-mail threats such as buffer overflow attacks or Nimda-like worms. IronMail identifies and blocks attacks, including buffer overflow and Unicode exploits, as well as Nimda-like threats, which exploit underlying Web servers, such as Microsoft Internet Information Services servers.
