D-Link introduced an integrated dual radio 2.4GHz/5GHz wireless access point. The dual mode access point simultaneously serves both 802.11a wireless connectivity at 54Mbps and 802.11b wireless connectivity at 11Mbps. The new D-LinkAir Pro DWL-6000AP Dual Band Wireless Access Point provides support to existing 802.11b networking devices as well as new 802.11a products.

The D-LinkAir Pro DWL-6000AP has a web-based interface that is used to setup and administer the device through its embedded web server. It also can be managed through Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).

The access point includes two internal mini-PCI slots to allow both WiFi and WiFi5 adapters and connectivity. D-Link's new dual band wireless access point has support for console/telnet sessions and a 10/100 Ethernet interface. The device's firmware can also be upgraded.

The D-LinkAir Pro DWL-6000AP Dual Band Wireless Access Point will be available in June with a suggested retail price of $499.
