Motorola adds CE support to DragonballiApplianceWeb (10/30/02, 02:02:07 AM EDT) Austin, Texas --- Motorola's Arm-derived DragonBall processor now supports Windows CE. The DragonBall processor is designed for lower-power multimedia and wireless Internet applications. Windows CE is an operating system for mobile computing devices, such as PDAs, with features such as networking, multimedia, and web-browsing. In addition, Motorola's semiconductor products sector has joined the ARM Consortium for Windows CE. The company says it plans to provide continued support for CE, as well as future Windows CE platforms. The Dragonball Processor, with support for Windows CE, is available now. Support for Windows CE .Net is anticipated to arrive by the end of 2003.
