Mobile Desktop software from iDini Corporation allows mobile professionals to fully interact with desktop applications and documents via wireless devices, including PDAs and Web-enabled mobile phones, without requiring application reprogramming or hardware modifications.

Enterprise users can store documents in private online folders and view, edit, e-mail, or fax these documents via PalmOS devices or Web-enabled phones using Mobile Desktop. iDini's package offers support for desktop applications and file types, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as HTML, .txt, Postscript, and PDF.

Mobile Desktop provides a secure Web-based file storage system to address wireless enterprise security issues. All local files and databases are internally encrypted and password protected. Mobile Desktop can also be deployed behind a secure firewall. It communicates with external gateways or users using SSL Layer 2 encryption. In addition, a single server configuration allows for ease of installation, minimal hardware add-ons, and low maintenance costs.

Mobile Desktop is available immediately and pricing is based on a client-access licensing model. Additional information may also be accessed on the iDini Web site at www.idini.com.
