INSTANT POWER Chargers for Palm V

Electric Fuel's new product lineup includes an INSTANT POWER Charger for Palm V handheld computers that delivers up to eight charges. Other new products include chargers for Compaq iPAQ Pocket PCs, Handspring Prism and Visor Phone models, and Novatel Minstrel V wireless modems. Chargers for HP Jornada and Casio Cassiopeia models will be available soon.

INSTANT POWER Chargers allows users to power their PDAs without an electrical outlet so they can keep working while charging, even if the battery is dead. The pocket-sized charger weighs less than three ounces and plugs directly into the PDA.

The INSTANT POWER Charger product line also includes models for cell phones from Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Ericsson, Panasonic, Siemens, and Philips, including Internet-enabled models. Other models are also under development. The INSTANT POWER Chargers provide up to three charges for cell phones. Electric Fuel's INSTANT POWER batteries and chargers are based on the company's Zinc Air fuel cell technology.

The new INSTANT POWER Chargers for PDAs will be shipped early in the second quarter of 2001. A complete INSTANT POWER Charger kit, including reusable SmartCord, is priced at $19.95; INSTANT POWER Cartridges are priced at $9.95.
