BlueKite.com is speeding up the wireless web with optimization software for Pocket PC devices. The BlueKite Platform enables wireless access speeds equivalent to dial-up connections, improving the user experience for mobile Internet devices.

BlueKite's platform addresses many "last mile" constraints traditionally associated with wireless Web access. BlueKite enhances wireless connectivity by providing mobile access to the Web at speeds equivalent to or better than 56 kbps fixed-line, modem connections, so Web pages, e-mail, and files are downloaded and sent more quickly. BlueKite also improves the transmission throughput by making more efficient use of the wireless spectrum. It reduces the quantity of web-based data transmission by an average of 8X on packet-switched networks.

In addition the BlueKite Platform makes it easier to use wireless links by providing automatic reconnect and optimal call set-up functions. The platform supports most types of wireless communications such as GSM, GPRS, CDPD, CDMA, and future 3G wireless standards. BlueKite supports PocketPC devices using SH3, MIPS, and StrongARM processors running Windows CE 3.0 and Internet Explorer for PocketPC.
