KS-110 Wireless Audio SystembyDo you have the desire to listen to MP3s or Internet radio, but hate having to sit in one place to do it? Try the KS-110 Wireless Audio System from Akoo.com. Soon enough, this device will have Sinatra, or perhaps Tool, crooning, or screaming, in your ear. The KS-110 is made of the base unit and the receiving unit, which are 4.85 x 3.80 inches and 4.85 x 3.65 inches, respectively. To make this wireless marvel work, you connect the base unit to your computer's sound card, or another audio source, like the TV, a satellite, or even your stereo. You then put the receiving unit near your radio (or you can connect it directly to your stereo) and tune the radio to one of two FM frequencies: 88.1 or 88.3. The base unit transmits a high-fidelity stereo signal to the receiving unit, which can sit up to 1000 feet away, so you can listen to your MP3s through your radio. Because the KS-110 doesn't come with speakers, you will need to connect the receiver to your stereo via two RCA stereo jacks. The two parts of the KS-110 communicate via a 900 MHz FM frequency, with the base unit encoding it, and the receiving unit decoding it. The KS-110 is compatible with MP3 music files and players, Real Player, Real Jukebox, Real Networks G2 Formats, Microsoft Media Player, MUSICMATCH Jukebox, Winamp, iTunes, Satellite and Cable TV channels, CD's, DVD's, VCR's, and PC and Mac computers. Voyetra AudioStation, an Internet-enabled media player, provides digital file management. With this, you can create custom groups of songs and playlists and access songs by genre, artist, album, or title. It even recognizes standard M3U playlists for compatibility with PC jukebox programs. Each of the device components is powered by four "AAA" batteries, or an AC power adapter. Pricing and Availability Akoo.com is currently unable to take orders for the KS-110. Check the site, www.akoo.com, for future availability.
