Dell Digital Audio ReceiverbyThe Dell Digital Audio Receiver is a stand-alone receiver you can use to play music downloaded to your PC in MP3 and WMA file formats. The device connects to your PC through a phone line using HPNA 2.0 technology or the Ethernet; then you're ready to jam to any song or playlist from the digital jukebox PC in any room of your house with a phone or Ethernet connection. The Digital Audio Receiver comes with a 15-foot RJ-11 cable, and a 6-foot RJ-45 cable. The device is operated through buttons on the face or a remote control, which allows you to control volume, search, sound quality, and playlist management. Music Match Software is included, so you can select and manage your playlists to create the mood you want, when you want. The LCD shows the current track, track number, track time, and playlist. For high sound quality, the Digital Audio Receiver has a 10W per channel amplifier built in. If you like, you can connect it to your home stereo system with the six-foot RCA cable, or you can connect it directly to its own set of speakers. The unit weight about 3.5 pounds and measures 9 x 9 x 3 inches, to easily fit on a bookshelf or cabinet. The device can be used on any existing computer that meets the minimum system requirements including: Intel Pentium 200 MHz or higher processor, 32 MB RAM, 16 MB hard disk space, CD-ROM drive, and PNA or Ethernet adaptor.
