Rio Advanced Digital Audio Center

by

Looking to add a new component to that stereo system? Want to access those MP3s from somewhere other than your PC? Rio has developed a device that will allow you to quickly transfer music files from existing CDs and data files using the Advanced Digital Audio Center's CD-RW or USB functions.

Rio Advanced Digital Audio Center

And if you think that you have too many CDs and music files for one device to hold, think again. The new Advanced Digital Audio Center (DAC) has a 40 GB hard drive, which will store more than 650 CDs or 6,500 individual songs.

When transferring the music, whether it be through ripping a CD via the CD-RW, downloading MP3s from your computer with the USB, or downloading them directly off of the Internet through the built-in 56 kbps modem, the DAC automatically catalogs and organized the files so they are easy for you to find in the future. A built-in 10 mbps PNA connection will also let you stream the music throughout your home to several different outlets. Controlling your playlist is easy, either by using the remote control to find your favorite songs, or by using the on-deck controls and LCD.

The DAC measures 17.0 x 4.7 x 15.3 and weighs 12.0 lbs.

Pricing and Availability

The Rio Advanced Digital Center is currently available for $1,499.95.
