AudioRamp iRAD-C

by

Intended as a component for a stereo or entertainment system, the iRAD-C delivers the music users want where and when they want it. The iRAD-C integrates Internet streaming and downloadable audio files directly into an entertainment system. Users can create personal music libraries of Windows Media or MP3 songs downloaded off of the Internet or copied off of CDs and control them easily through one device without having to periodically change CDs.

Home Wireless Gateway

The iRAD-C is has been designed to connect to MyAudioRamp, a Website that can be personalized as a genre, source with artist preferences. After the system is personalized, MyAudioRamp will retrieve and present audio and music content on a daily basis based on the selection preferences. like having a personal deejay.

IntelligentAudio is the complimentary audio technology used by the AudioRamp products. The software and hardware components for this technology are incorporated in the MyAudioRamp Website and embedded in the AudioRamp devices. It is this technology that allows the player to learn each user's preferences. Also, while listening to music, the iRAD ActionButton can be activated, IntelligentAudio will then take a digital footprint of the song and reveal all of its information, including artist name, song title, album name, and even label on the 3 x 5 inch LCD. Users won't ever have to wonder, "Who sings this song?" The iRAD-C can tell them.

The iRAD-C acts independently, so no PC connection is necessary. It connects to the Internet via a 56k modem, Ethernet, or HomePNA connection. This comes in handy not only for downloading new music, but for connecting to the AudioRamp server for software upgrades. The iRAD-C can also transfer the audio and music to MP3 players through a standard USB port. A multi-function CD player plays MP3 and standard CDs, and records CDs to the iRAD's 8.4GB internal hard drive, which will hold more than 3,000 songs.

Measuring 4.0 x 15 x 14.8 in, the iRAD-C is designed to fit into standard entertainment centers. The iRAD-C works in conjunction with audio peripherals via an Audio Out (RCA) or Digital Out (TOS) for amplifiers and receivers.
