Winterm 3230LE

The Winterm 3230LE thin client from Wyse allows network administrators to easily create a manageable network of LAN users set up specifically for their needs. With these devices, instead of PCs, IT staff can control firmware upgrades, reconfigurations, and custom configurations easily and universally.

The 3230LE is powered by a 300 MHz National GX1 processor and supplies users with 32 MB RAM and 16 MB Flash. It is set up to operate either alone as a browser terminal or as a thin client. It is compatible with Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, Terminal Server Edition, and Citrix MetaFrame applications. Ideal setup would allow LAN users to access a standard suite of office applications, plus email web-based applications and Internet browsing, and peripherals, like printers.

For network connectivity, it supports 10/100Base T fast Ethernet, and has two USB ports. The 3230LE does not come with a monitor, but supports a display resolution up to 1024 x 768, or 8-bit or 16-bit colors.

The 3230LE supports RDP 5 and ICA 3 protocols, along with SNMP, DHCP, and asset management.

The Winterm 3230LE is currently available for $559.
