Palm m505byThe Palm has evolved from a small, black PIM organizer to a sleek, modern Internet-enabled PDA in the m505. Users can now add storage, applications, content, and peripherals, like a portable keyboard, wireless modem, or even a camera, through the Palm m505's Secure Digital/MultiMediaCard slot or Palm Universal Connector. Other programs included are Documents to Go v 3.0, MGI PhotoSuite Mobile Edition, AvantGo, Pocket Mirror 3.0, Palm Reader, MultiMail SE, and Palm Mobile Connectivity Software. As for storing all of this valuable information, the m505 is equipped with 8 MB of memory, so it will hold thousands of addresses, years of appointments, hundreds of to-do items, notes, memos, and email messages, not to mention the possibility of another 64 MB of memory that you can add via the Secure Digital/MultiMediaCard slot. Showing off the m505 will be a snap, with this Palm V-based design. Sleek silver packaging holds a 16-bit color touchscreen supporting 65,000 colors. The LCD also has a backlight for viewing in the dark. And remember, anything you do on this handy-dandy device can be transferred to your PC with the touch of a button using the Native USB HotSync cradle. In addition, when you're at a conference, exchanging information with another Palm-user is simple with the infrared port. The m505 is 4.5 x 3.1 x .5 inches, and weighs 4.9 oz.
