iPAQ H3135 Pocket PCbyIt's true that part of the fun of using a Pocket PC is being able to access the brightly colored documents and email attachments, but if you're looking for something more economical, and you're willing to sacrifice the color, the H3135 is the way to go. Processing power for the H3135 comes from the same 206 MHz Intel Strong ARM 32-bit processor that powers the H3635. And you'll get the same Windows CE operating system and the suite of Microsoft software, including Pocket Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player (MP3s), and Reader. But instead of 32MB of RAM and 16 MB of ROM that comes with the H3635, you'll get 16 MB of RAM and 16 MB of flash to store your information. To get documents on and off the H3135, you can use ActiveSync 3.1 and the USB communications port to connect it directly to your PC. Other connectivity options include IrDA and the CompactFlash Card Expansion Pack the iPAQs are famous for. You slide the expansion pack onto the back of the iPAQ device, and viola! Now you have a self-powered CompactFlash (or PC Card, if you choose that option) slot that you can use to quickly add memory, wireless connectivity, or other programs. Controlling all of this functionality is easy, using either the touchscreen display, which will give you 15 grayscale colors and a resolution of 240 x 320, or the five-way joystick. The H3135 is powered by a lithium polymer rechargeable battery. The H3635 measures 5.11" x 3.28" x 0.62" and weighs 6.3 oz. Pricing and Availability The cheapest of the iPAQ group, the H3135 is currently available starting at $399.
