Moxi Media Center

by

The Moxi Media Center (MC) will become the center of your home's networking universe. Not simply a set top box, the MC works as a digital cable or satellite receiver, digital music jukebox, personal video recorder, DVD player, and cable/DSL modem and Internet gateway in one. With 802.11a capabilities, you can even create a home wireless network.

Moxi Media Center

Software for the Moxi Media Network is also included, which gives you the ability to distribute video, music, and data throughout your home to up to four rooms using Moxi Media Center Exentsions. Other software includes the Moxi Media Guide, a navigation system to find TV shows, movies, music, and Flash animations, the Moxi Media Player, the Moxi Personal Video Recorder, and the Moxi Music Jukebox.

The MC connects to your network through cable modem, 56k modem, DSL, or Ethernet and even supplies you with a network firewall. If you decide to download audio or video files into the 80GB of storage available on the MC, you can even use 1394 (Firewire) to quickly transfer the files. Of course, the MC also plays CDs and DVDs.

Pricing and Availability

Moxi Media Center will not be available directly to consumers. Check with your local network operator for availability and pricing.
