Sony Ericsson P800

by

Attention members of the GSM universe: You have yet another new device to occupy your time while you're on the go. The Sony Ericsson P800, a multimedia smartphone with a built-in camera.

Sony Ericsson P800

Designed to allow users to communicate with anyone in the world, the P800 comes with a large color touch-screen and a built-in camera and Internet access. What this means for you is that you can take digital photos and then send them along to family and friends without ever having to download them to a computer. Pretty neat. For your viewing pleasure, Sony Ericsson has given you a 208 x 320 pixel color screen and photo album capabilities.

In addition to still photos that you take, you can use the Internet connection, via the GSM 900/1800/1900 or GPRS network to download video clips, as well. An integrated browser will allow you to access HTML, xHTML, i-Mode and WAP web pages. If you happen not to purchase mobile phones for their video capabilities, rest assured that the P800 offers other benefits. It also serves as an organizer, with calendar, email, address book, and to-do list capabilities. And though it is based on Symbian OS v7.0, it can also view Powerpoint, Word, or Excel files.

As an added bonus, if you actually have Bluetooth-enabled devices that you are currently using, you can even connect the P800 to those.
